Police investigate series of burglaries in Mid Suffolk

Police are urging residents to stay vigilant after a series of burlaries in Mid Suffolk.

Officers are investigating six incidents yesterday.

In Washam Road in Finningham, offenders entered a property and stole jewellery and cash.

On Finningham Road, Westhorpe, a house was entered and an untidy search made but nothing was stolen.

A property in Norwich Road, Little Stonham, was entered with cash stolen.

An iPad mini and jewellery was stolen from a property on a road connecting Shelland and Borley Green.

Two further incidents happened in Ixworth Road in Stowlangtoft.

Between 8am and 6pm an offender gained access to a property, made an untidy search but nothing was taken.

Between 11am and 9.30pm another property was entered but nothing is believed to be stolen.

A transit type white van with blue letterting including a ‘J’ and a ‘C’ was seen in the area around the time.

Police are keen to trace the owner of this van.
