Police appealing for information after an attempted burglary in Thetford

Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in Thetford.

It happened at approximately 2.10pm Thursday, January 3.

The occupant of an address in Brandon Road was alerted to an unknown man attempting to enter the property and contacted police.

The man then made off through woodland and was pursued by police for approximately ten minutes.

He was last seen riding a bicycle crossing Brandon Road.

The man is described as white, of skinny build, wearing a black beanie hat, a black puffy jacket with a blue top underneath.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone with dash cam footage of the area at that time, to contact them.
