Police are appealing for the driver of a red car and any other witnesses to come forward following what they describe as ‘an incident’ in the Haughley area on February 15.

A woman was driving along Bury Road from Stowmarket towards Haughley between about 4.30pm and 4.50pm when she became aware of a man, who is known to her, driving a silver BMW behind her.

The red car was between her and the BMW.

At Haughley High Street, the red car and the silver BMW turned right and the woman parked in the lay-by opposite the school. The silver BMW was then driven past her vehicle before driving away.

Police want to trace the driver of the red car and anyone else who may have noticed the silver BMW and the way it was driven in the area at this time.

If you can help call PC Jacques Grotier at Suffolk Police by dialling 101 and quoting reference 17933/16.
