Police appeal for information as garage and shed broken into in Beck Row and Stowmarket
Suffolk Police are appealing for information after a shed in Stowmarket was broken into and a man was found in a residents garage in Beck Row.
On Thursday, November 21 between 5.20am and 6.30am scrap copper and fishing tackle were stolen from a home in Needham Road, Stowmarket.
Yesterday (Thursday) at around 8.15pm in Lamble Close, Beck Row a resident heard a noise outside and found a man in their garage.
The resident shouted at the man who then got into a car - possibly an Audi A4 estate.
The resident went back inside and called the police.
On checking their garage, the door had been opened but nothing appears to have been taken.
Police are urging residents to review the security for their sheds, garages and outbuildings.
Entry to the shed was forced in the Stowmarket incident and police are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything to get in contact via one of the options listed on their website here.
