Police appeal for witnesses after woman grabbed in Coddenham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was grabbed in Coddenham at the weekend.

The incident happened in Norwich Road along the A140 on Sunday January 24 at around 6.30am.

A female employee at a fast food restaurant was unlocking the door to the premises when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her on the shoulders.

The woman defended herself and the offender fled.

The man is described as of a large build and was wearing dark coloured clothing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact Mid Suffolk Police on 101 quoting crime reference 37/13864/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
