Police appeal for witnesses after second Westley burglary

Police are appealing for information after a second burglary was reported on the same night in Westley.

Officers were investigating the first offence where a burglar was disturbed between 5am and 5.15am yesterday morning, , at an address in Hill Road, were told by a neighbour in the same street that they had also been burgled.

The second crime took place between 10.30pm Tuesday July 29 and 6am yesterday, Wednesday July. 30.

Entry was gained via a front window and a wallet containing a small amount of cash was stolen.

Police are reminding people to always ensure that they have locked and secured doors and windows before going to bed.
