Police continue to urge members of the public to ‘see it, hear it, report it’ following two daytime burglaries in Freckenham yesterday.

The break-ins took place between 8am and 3pm on Thursday June 4, at two neighbouring properties in Mildenhall Road.

The first burglary involved a rear window being forced open to gain entry and a quantity of cash and jewellery was stolen from inside.

At the second address, it is believed entry was gained through a small insecure window, with cash and items of jewellery again targeted.

Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity they may have seen or heard either in relation to these crimes, or anything out of the ordinary in any village.

Anyone with information about these crimes, is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 quoting reference MH/15/1091, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
