Plans for school site

Have your say

PLANS have been submitted for the conversion of the site of Tuddenham VC Primary School into six homes, a grass recreation area and a village hall.

The primary school in High Street, Tuddenham, closed its doors for the final time at the end of the last academic year, when students were relocated to a new school in Red Lodge.

The proposal suggests that five of the new houses, which will be three or four bedroom detached properties, be sold on the open market and one be retained as an affordable housing unit for local community benefit.

Documents submitted by the applicant, Mr Simon Pott, state the need for a new village hall in the village describing the current hall as in ‘a poor state of repair’.
