Plans for a new care home and wellbeing centre to replace Glastonbury Court in Bury St Edmunds will go on display on Thursday September 19.

Operator Care UK and developer Castleoak will be on hand to answer questions about the new home which will accommodate 80 residents.

The event will be held at Horringer Court Middle School from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.

Building work would start in September 2014 pending planning permission.

Residents and their families are being consulted about the proposed changes and they will be given the option to move to the newly built Davers Court care home, in Shakers Lane, before Glastonbury Court closes for redevelopment.
