Former staff at Glasswells with decades of employment between them have been honoured by a special reunion.

Dozens of retired staff were invited back to the company’s Bury St Edmunds headquarters last month to celebrate their long service, alongside existing employees who have been with the company for 20 years or more.

This party has become something of a tradition at the well-known family business.

Paul Glasswell, managing director, said: “This annual pre-Christmas reunion party is a nice way to honour and show our appreciation to staff, both those who continue to work for the company and those who are enjoying their retirement.

“We pride ourselves on the fact that we have so many members of staff who have given decades of service to Glasswells.”

Former employees said the party was a great way to catch up with old friends as well as underline the importance of staff at Glasswells.
