SUFFOLK’S stars of the future Lewis Mokler and Adam Moss are about to embark on a two-week whirlwind tour of the UK.

Lewis, 20, from Newmarket, and Adam, 17, from Ipswich, met three years ago when they ended up on the same bill for their first ever gigs.

On October 1 the pair set off on their Penguins and Turtles tour of the UK, starting in Brighton.

The duo will then play a gig a day, including one at the Hunter Club, in Bury St Edmunds, on October 4, finishing at the Classic Grand, in Glasgow, on October 13.

The tour includes performances in London, Norwich, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham and Edinburgh.

Lewis and Adam have even recorded a special collaborative EP for the tour – only available to those who see them live.

Lewis has had a very busy 2012, having just played his 119th gig of the year following the release of his hugely successful debut album, Fingertips, which reached number six in the iTunes singer/songwriter chart.

Lewis said he was thrilled about going on tour.

He said: “Adam and I played our first ever gig together about three years ago and have stayed friends ever since.

“We both wanted to play around the country at places we had never played before.

“We have produced a limited edition EP for the tour with four new tracks which we wrote together and both play on.

“I am especially looking forward to playing the Hunter Club in Bury on October 4.

“I haven’t really played in Bury since the album launch so I am really excited about that gig.

“When you are an up and coming artist doing your first gigs you dream of one day going on tour.

“It is so exciting.”

Adam said: “It must have been last year we said we should go on tour and now it is really happening

“It is something I have always wanted to do. “We are playing all over. London, Bristol, Liverpool and even a few gigs up in Scotland.

“It is going to be great.”
