Two men have denied poaching in a village near Stowmarket last month.

Frank Mcfarlane, 28, of Newman Drive, Boxted, Colchester, and Christopher Ward, 38, of East Ham Manor Way, Newham, London, pleaded not guilty to daytime trespass in pursuit of game at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court today.

The pair, who were not represented in court, are accused of committing the offence on land at Pound Lane, Creeting St Peter, on September 8.

They were released on unconditional bail until December 4 when they are due to stand trial in the same court.
