Flying Trade Group, behind Dragonfly Hotel in Bury St Edmunds, listed in Sunday Times Top Track 250

The group behind the Dragonfly Hotel in Bury St Edmunds has been named as one of Britain's top performing private firms.

Flying Trade Group, which owns Surya Hotel Group was this week listed in the Sunday Times Top Track 250.

The group, which also includes Surya Foods, saw its turnover increase by 15 per cent to £152million last year.

Essex-based Flying Trade Group first made the listing last year at 241 - but found out their ranking had shot up to 188 when the list was released yesterday (Sunday, October 13).

Proprietor Harry Dulai said: "We are delighted, that for the second year running, our UK operations have secured a place within these prestigious league tables appearing alongside a raft of leading national brands.

"We are truly thrilled and thankful to our staff, customers and third party stakeholders.”
