The Olympic Flame will travel within an hour of 95 per cent of people in the UK during its 70-day relay - and on July 7 it will make its way through the historic heart of Bury St Edmunds.

The torch will begin its journey on Horringer Road, past the iconic Theatre Royal on Westgate Street, and on to Crown Street on its way to Angel Hill.

From Angel Hill the torch bearers will carry the flame towards Mustow Street, along Northgate Street and Fornham Road and on to Tollgate Street.

It will then head along Beetons Way to the Suffolk Youth Games at West Suffolk Athletics Track, where more than 1,000 children from across the county will be competing.
