Saturday (Day 50) of the torch relay sees the flame set off from Chelmsford first thing on its way to Cambridge.

The torch sets off in Essex at 06.52 and will arrive at Harlow at 07.57.

From Harlow, it moves on to Hertford, Ware, Bishop’s Stortford and Stansted Mountfitchet before hitting Newport and then Saffron Walden at 12.37.

From Walden, the torch party will move on to Duxford Airfield (13.06) and then arrive in Haverhill for 14.39.

From Haverhill, the torch will approach Bury St Edmunds, arriving at 15.39.

It will spend some time going through the streets of Bury before leaving for Newmarket, arriving at the horseracing HQ at 17.29.

After a brief stay there, it moves on to Cambridge, arriving in the university city at 18.06.
