Nursery students and local primary schools entertained elderly people with carols and a nativity at a Christmas lunch in Red Lodge on Tuesday.

Over-65s were invited to enjoy the lunch and entertainment by pupils from St Christopher’s Primary School, Kennett Primary School and Jumpin Beans Nursery.

Father Christmas and a trusted elf also dropped by and sent all attendees home with a present.

A raffle took place with all money raised donated to Age UK.

The event was staged thanks to donations from district councillor Roger Dicker’s locality budget, Red Lodge Parish Council and companies including The Bell in Kennett.
