Stanton Parish Council has installed a new water fountain in the town to help reduce plastic waste.

The drinking fountain and bottle re-fill station is located next to thepublic toilets at the village hall.

Cllr Neil Chapman, council chairman, said: "We wanted to do something to help reduce the use of plastic because that's a big thing at the moment.

"Hopefully people will use the bottle station rather than buying bottles from shops."
