A council blunder has led to a batch of EU referendum polling cards being sent out with the wrong information.

Residents in Tuddenham can expect to receive new cards, which will be sent out early next week.

The first batch, sent out on Thursday, were printed on white card and gave details of the wrong polling station.

The new ones will be printed on yellow card and will correctly state the polling station as the Village Hall.

According to St Edmundsbury Borough Council the error related to 232 polling cards out of approximately 118,000 that were sent to residents in West Suffolk.
