A couple with more than 30 years experience of working in the financial sector have launched their Bury-based accountancy service for small businesses.

Eliott Betts and Lili Huang have opened TaxAssist Accountants at 70 Northgate Street, Bury St Edmunds. It is aimed at supporting small businesses in the area.

Eliott, an associate member of the Institute of Financial Accountants, said: “Having worked in and with large companies both in the UK and abroad, it’s always been our passion to help small businesses succeed, and with the support of TaxAssist Accountants, we’re confident we can do just that.”

Lili, who has a double major in Accounting and Finance, added: “We have big plans for the business and will be looking to recruit staff in the near future.” TaxAssist Accounting is a national network of independent accountants for small business.
