Needham Market High Street closed after car damaged gas pipe

The High Street in Needham Market is currently closed after a car hit a house, damaging a gas pipe.

Police were called shortly before 3pm this afternoon to reports that a vehicle had collided with a house on the High Street.

The High Street, which is part of the B1113, and Barretts Lane remain closed whilst gas engineers attend and the vehicle is recovered.

No injuries are believed to have been sustained.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
