Bury St Edmunds MP David Ruffley will be discussing how to tackle global poverty with students at the town’s County Upper School tomorrow (21).

The MP wrote to schools in Bury earlier this year, inviting them to enter The Shape the Future competition.

Shape the Future gives young people the chance to submit their own proposals on reducing global poverty directly to The Department for International Development.

Mr Ruffley said: “Shape the Future is a great way to educate pupils about development issues, global poverty and the UK’s.
“It gives the new generation the opportunity to voice their opinions and shape the UK’s future development policy.

“I want to hear what the pupils of County Upper School think.”
