Bury St Edmunds MP Jo Churchill has officially opened an award-winning mortgage company’s newly renovated offices.
On Wednesday Larkbridge Mortgages hosted a champagne lunch to celebrate its first year of trading from its completely renovated premises in Bury Road, Flempton.
It follows the company’s move from Fornham St Genevieve and was attended by its clients and associates, as well as Bury St Edmunds MP Jo Churchill who cut a ribbon to declare the ‘The Stables’ office at Flempton House officially open.
Lincoln Brown, managing director of Larkbridge, said the event was a chance to say thank you to everyone who had supported the company since its launch in 2013.
Larkbridge, which offers impartial advice for people looking to secure mortgages, is part of a group of East Anglian businesses which include St Edmundsbury Financial Services, 3SQ Employee Benefits and Sheridans Estate Agents.
Andrew Speed, managing director of St Edmundsbury Financial Services, said: “Contrary to concerns around Brexit, our mortgage business is booming.
“Larkbridge Mortgages Ltd have just had their best quarter and will complete on over 250 million pounds worth of lending in 2016, all of it in Suffolk and the surrounding area.”
Larkbridge, which won the Tenet best newcomer award within six months of trading, also has an office in Long Melford within the Sheridans’ office in the High Street.
