Motorcyclist killed in Barham collision named as Darnell Meade from Needham Market


A teenage motorcyclist who died following a collision in Barham on Friday has been named as Darnell Meade from Needham Market.

Police were called by the ambulance service at around 2.45pm on Friday April 24 reporting a collision between a Kawasaki motorcycle, a Toyota Hilux and a Ford Transit van on Norwich Road, close to the Sandy Lane junction.

A police spokesman said: “The man riding the motorcycle, 19-year-old Darnell Meade from Needham Market was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD 228 of Friday April 24.
