A motorcyclist is in hospital after coming off her bike in Flempton this afternoon.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the incident on the A1101 at around 1.30pm to reports that a female motorcyclist had come off her vehicle. A Suffolk Police spokeswoman said the rider may have been attempting to overtake some other vehicles at the time of the accident.

The woman, believed to be in her late 20s or early 30s, was suffering from some hip pain. She was also put into a neck brace by medics as a precaution before being taken to West Suffolk Hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be serious.
