Inquest: Onehouse motorcyclist died in incident near Haughley




A motorcyclist died in a crash on a country road near Haughley, an inquest has heard.

Paul Siely, 54, suffered fatal injuries when his Yamaha motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Volvo car in Warren Lane, Haughley, on August 9 last year.

The inquest on Tuesday, at Suffolk Coroner's Court, in Ipswich, heard the accident happened shortly after 1pm.

Mr Siely, who lived in Union Road, Onehouse, had been attempting to overtake the Volvo as it was making a right-hand turn into Warren Lane.

Mr Siely, a welder who had moved to Stowmarket 25 years ago, was declared dead at the scene.

The cause of his death was given as multiple injuries as a consequence of a road traffic collision.

Nigel Parsley, senior Suffolk coroner, recorded a conclusion that Mr Siely died as a result of a road traffic collision.
