Motorbike and chainsaw stolen during garage burglaries in Mildenhall

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike and chainsaw were stolen during two garage burglaries in Mildenhall.

The break-ins both took place between 11pm last night (Thursday) and 6am this morning (Friday).

The first burglary occurred in Heathland Way where the garage door was forced open and a white Husqvarna FE350 motorbike, registration number EO15 AEK, was stolen from inside.

This was followed by another break-in at a garage in Yew Tree Close, where again the door was forced open and an orange Stihl chain saw was stolen.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information about these crimes, is asked to contact Pc Dan Smyth at the Forest Heath Neighbourhood Response Team on 101 quoting reference MH/15/1786, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
