A large part of West Suffolk awoke to a covering of snow this morning.

Motorists seem to have heeded warnings and there have been no reports of problems on the roads from police.

The Meterological Office is not forecasting any more snow today although there may be light showers tonight – followed by sleet.

Chedburgh resident Kevin Osborne sent in this picture from his walk this morning with Buddy.
