Youth football teams based at Heldhaw Road on Bury St Edmunds’ Moreton Hall estate have had to reschedule their games after their pitch was wrecked by tyre tracks.

The damage was discovered by the club’s treasurer on Tuesday December 30.

Moreton Hall Youth Football Club secretary Pippa Sharp said two under-13 sides and two under-11 teams had been forced to postpone or reschedule their games.

“The tyre tracks were found between Christmas and New Year’s Day,” she said.

“We don’t know who has done it. It leaves our MHYFC boys without a pitch to play on until rectified.”

If you have any information about who is responsible call police on 101.
