Moreton Hall Community Centre has signed up to a new GiveMeTap initiative and wants other businesses in the Bury St Edmunds area to do the same.
The project, which is free to join and puts businesses on a free app, encourages people to buy a reusable GiveMeTap bottle which, when presented at businesses registered as ‘community taps’, allows them free refills.
Buying the bottles helps people in Africa get access to clean water, with every purchase contributing to the development of water boreholes or wells.
It also helps to reduce plastic waste.
