A Moreton Hall-based accountants has raised £3,366 for Breast cancer Campaign and MIND through its eighth charity golf day.
The event, organised by Knights Lowe, took place at the Menzies Barhill, in Cambridge, where 17 teams played 18 holes of golf before sitting down to a three course meal, raffle and auction.
Teams were made up of staff, clients and professional contacts of Knights Lowe, with the day’s winner Bury St Edmunds’ A M Pearce Carpentry & Joinery.
A spokeswoman for Knights Lowe said: “We are pleased that we had another successful event this year and would like to thank all our clients and contacts who attended on the day”.
Through its annual golf events, the company has raised a total of £29,000 for charities that include CLIC Sargent, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), St Nicholas Hospice Care, The Stroke Association, Cancer Research UK and the RSPCA.
