Money stolen from burger van

POLICE are appealing for information after money was stolen from a burger van in Stonham Parva.

Two men approached the van in a layby on the A140 at around 2pm yesterday afternoon (August 6).

One man bought a drink, asking the worker inside the van to help change some money.

When the worker produced a money tin, the men snatched it and ran into their vehicle with a third man.

The trio drove off along the north carriageway in what is believed to be a dark blue Volkswagon Golf.

The first man is described as white, in his late thirties to early forties, with dark shaved hair and wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.

The other two men are also described as white with one wearing a baseball cap and the third taller than his two companions.

Police are appealing for anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact PC Wayman at Mid Suffolk Central SNT on 101.
