Bury Mini Club organises Suffolk Run for three charities
West Suffolk’s own Self Preservation Society is calling on drivers to join a 65 mile rally to raise hundreds for charity. The event on Sunday, April 28, is open to owners of new style MINIs and classic Minis, made famous in Michael Caine’s 1969 film The Italian Job.
Bury Mini Club want the eleventh staging of the Suffolk Run to raise more than the £600 totalled in 2014, the last time it was held, and gather more than 50 Minis. Cars will start from Ram Meadow in Bury St Edmunds and will leave at one minute intervals from 10am.
They will make their way to Aldeburgh, parking up by the sea front for 1pm.
East Anglian Air Ambulance, Suffolk Accident Rescue Service and Aldeburgh United Charities will benefit from entry fees and a raffle.
To take part, call Richard Mortlock on 07885 420973.
