Mildenhall man accused of murder appears in court

A 49-year-old accused of murdering a man from Mildenhall has appeared before magistrates in Bury St Edmunds.

Paul Bone, 40, of Trinity Avenue, Mildenhall, died of a stab wound at an address in Pembroke Close at around 12.50am on Friday.

Today, Andrew Turner, 49, of Pembroke Close, Mildenhall, appeared at Bury Magistrates’ Court charged with Mr Bone’s murder. He gave no indication of a plea and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on January 2.

A 45-year-old woman from Mildenhall arrested on suspicion of Mr Bone’s murder has been released on police bail. She is due to return to Bury’s Police Investigation Centre on March 18.
