Greek mythology amazed and awed at West Row Primary School last week.
Year five students performed the myth of Orpheus during an exhibition of the work they had produced while studying ancient and modern Greece.
A display of Greek vases made from clay and painted with geometric patterns, sculptures made of soap and comedy and tragedy masks were just some of the items on display.
The class had also made power-point presentations during which topics including the Olympics, Greek warfare and gods and goddesses were explored.
Finally their parents and schoolmates were entertained with a book of imaginative myths written by the students themselves.
The class ensured no one was hungry providing a delicious Greek feast.
