In that time Ms Spraggins has helped turn around the business by increasing services and making the operation more efficient.

“It is great to know my colleagues nominated me,” she said. “If it was not for my team I could not win an award for leadership.”

Ms Spraggins has also worked for Lloyds Pharmacy branches in Cambridgeshire in a ten-year career.

Malwina Karolczak, of Lloyds in Sainsbury’s, Bury St Edmunds, was highly commended for Inspirational Team Member, her colleague Lou Harris was highly commended for Active Referral from Pharmacy, Tiffany Clark of Stowmarket Co-Op Pharmacy won Health Champion and Sandra Faria Pestana, of Croasdales in Bury, was highly commended for Above and Beyond in Public Health.
