Police are reminding residents to lock their doors after a burglary in Mildenhall over the weekend.

A property in Boeing Way was entered through an insecure door some time between 4pm on Friday and 4pm yesterday,

An Apple MacBook Pro was stolen, along with around £10 and 35 Euros in cash.

Officers are again warning residents to lock their doors as this latest burglary follows two in Beck Row last week, which took place overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.

The first involved a house in Magnolia Close where an insecure patio door was entered and 110 US dollars stolen from inside.

The second took place in Linden Walk where an attempt was made to open a patio door, but it is thought the burglar was disturbed by the occupants’ dog barking.

Residents should ensure doors are kept locked at all times and back gardens are secured where possible, by locking side gates for example.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 quoting reference MH/15/404, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
