Methwold firefighters called to forest fire in Thetford

A crew from Methwold put out a forest fire in Thetford last night.

The firefighters were called to reports of a ‘small forestry fire’ off the B1107 shortly after 7.10pm.

They found an unattended bonfire and extinguished it using hose reel jets.
