A DOG walker was rescued on Tuesday night after receiving help from an emergency medical charity.

The 66-year-old, from Bacton, fell and seriously injured her shoulder while out walking her dog.

She was in extreme pain but a volunteer doctor from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service, called to assist the ambulance crew, administered a powerful painkilling drug which is not available on ambulances, enabling her to be transferred to West Suffolk Hospital.
