Masked man hits man on head with gun during burglary in Methwold

A masked man struck a man on the head with a gun during a burglary in a village.

The man entered a house, in Chapel Lane, Methwold, on Tuesday, May 19 at about 6pm and demanded items, threatening to harm the victim's dog.

The victim was hit on the head with a gun before the masked man fled empty-handed.

He is described as 6ft tall, of stocky build, with very short hair and tanned skin wearing a red and black jacket.
