Marriott Motors Group directors raise funds for EACH - East Anglia's Children's Hospices
Directors from the Marriott Motor Group have raised £3,366 for the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices after completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
Paul Barnard, Ian Woodward, Steve Bridges, Robert Rolfe and Austin Seales completed the challenge in 11 hours. The money raised goes towards their £16,800 target this year for Each which would provide hospice services for a day. It would also fund 25 hydrotherapy sessions.
The group is also holding monthly dress down days and showroom events at its Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Kings Lynn dealerships.
Last year the directors completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours to raise funds for the charity.
Victoria Matthews, Each Suffolk corporate fund-raiser, said: "Each would like to congratulate the directors of Marriott Group for completing another challenge, in an amazing time, as part of their support for us this year. The amount they have raised will make a significant difference to local life-threatened children, young people and their families in Suffolk and Norfolk."
The charity provides care for families at The Treehouse in Ipswich and The Nook in Norfolk.
