A Greene King-owned pub is to reopen in Bury St Edmunds later this year with a familiar face at the helm.

Adam Neads, manager of the King’s Arms in Brentgovel Street, will be taking over the Tollgate pub in Fornham Road when it reopens as a Flame Grill after major refurbishment work.

A Greene King spokeswoman said: “Our customers are fond of Adam and we are certain he will do an excellent job of helping to turn the pub back to its former glory.”

She added: “We are now in the process of looking for a new manager to run the popular King’s Arms, which is ideal for somebody who is looking to start a career in pub management. In the meantime it is business as usual at the pub.”
