British Transport Police say man threatened to stab conductor at Stowmarket railway station

A man assaulted and threatened to stab a conductor at Stowmarket station, British Transport Police has said.

The force believe the man, who did not have a ticket, pushed the conductor off the train during an altercation around 6am this morning (Thursday, March 21).

He reportedly threatened to stab the conductor, but no knife was seen.

The suspect then walked off towards the exit of Stowmarket railway station before turning to confront the staff member again.

Officers believe the man in this image may have information that could help their investigation.
