A car was found on its roof last night after a two-vehicle collision in Norton.

The crash, involving a BMW and a SEAT Leon, happened in Ashfield Road at around 11pm.

The BMW ended up on its roof and its driver, a man in his thirties, had to be freed by fire crews.

A SARS volunteer doctor and crews from the East of England Ambulance Service treated him for a foot injury at the scene.

He was later taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, for further checks, while his only passenger was uninjured.

The female driver of the SEAT is also thought to have escaped injury.
