An air ambulance landed in the centre of the track at Mildenhall Stadium, in West Row, following an accident yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 2.37pm and East Anglian Air Ambulance arrived at 2.50pm to help a man in his 30s who had been involved in a road traffic collision.

Pilots Elliot Haines and Eduardo Prato landed the helicopter at the stadium. Then doctor Ari Ercole and critical care paramedic Page Wilson conducted a full assessment and prepared the man for transport, by road ambulance, to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, for treatment.
