A man suffered serious head injuries after falling around 15ft in Mildenhall yesterday.

The man, who was aged in his 50s, fell 10-15ft after a motocross bike collided with the platform he was standing on at around 4.20pm.

An air ambulance and a paramedic crew were sent to the scene.

A Magpas spokeswoman said its Helimedix team provided the man with specialist care, before flying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

The patient was said to be in a serious but stable condition on arrival.
