POLICE are appealing for information after a man waked into West Suffolk Hospital, removed the back of a weighing machine and stole money from inside.
It happened at the hospital in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday (22) at around 4pm.
Suffolk Police say a man drove a silver BMW into the grounds of a hospital, tried to get into unauthorised areas inside the hospital, and then removed the rear door from a weighing machine and took the money inside.
He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, of medium to slim build, and in his late 20s or early 30s. He had short light coloured hair, a moustache and stubble on his chin.
The man was wearing a white hooded top with a small dark logo on the chest area, dark tracksuit bottoms with two white stripes down the side of the legs and white trainers.
