Man sexually assaults teenage girl in Thetford

Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl in Thetford.

The girl was approached by a man who made offensive comments and touched her inappropriately, in Canterbury Way, sometime between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on Friday, November 6.

The victim then fled in the direction of St Albans Way and Ripon Way.

The man is described as white, aged in his early 30s, of a medium build, around 5ft 4in height, having a bald head and was wearing baggy light blue jeans, dark blue and white trainers and a dark hooded jumper.

Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding the incident should contact PC Harriet Lucas at Thetford Police Station on 101.
