Man robbed near Mundford wedding venue

An investigation has been launched after a man was robbed near the entrance to a popular wedding venue in the early hours of this morning.

Police say the victim, a man in his 50s, was walking home when he was approached by two men outside the entrance to Lynford Hall at Munford at around 12.25am today.

The pair are alleged to have stolen cash, a gold watch and a ring before fleeing on bicycles.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Det Sgt Mark Glaster, of Norfolk Police, on 101.
