Man rescued from blaze at flat in Bury St Edmunds

Firefighters rescued a man from a blaze at a flat in Bury St Edmunds earlier tonight.

Three crews from Bury were called to the incident in Firtree Close at 6.31pm.

They rescued a man from the property and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.

By 6.54pm the fire was out and all fire personnel had left the scene by 7.44pm.
