A man has appeared in court to deny having been in possession of a bladed article on school premises.

Jonathan Abbott, 35, of Gedge Close, Bury St Edmunds on Friday pleaded not guilty during a brief hearing at Ipswich Crown Court.

Judge Rupert Overbury told Abbott that he would continue to be granted bail until he returns to court for his trial at the end of November.
